Hello friends and happy Friday!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. On today’s agenda we have the COVID-19 vaccine site at CCBC, celebration of Earth Day, and what is the MBTI?

Firstly, A PSA for anyone who still has not been able to get their COVID-19 vaccine:

There are about 150 walk-up appointments today at the vaccine clinic at CCBC Essex.  These appointments are available for any CCBC employee, student or Baltimore County resident.  The appointments will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Wellness and Athletics Center.  Just come to the check-in desk in the lobby.

Secondly, this past Thursday 22nd was Earth Day!

This Earth day I think it is important to recognize some good practices on how to reduce trash and develop better practices. Examples of good and useful practices are:

Composting – reducing waste while also growing a garden.

Not using single use plastic – using reusable bags and bottles instead.

Upcycling – get creative and turn something old into something new.

Being conscious about what you throw away – look at how much you throw away and make a conscious decision to try and reduce it.

Lastly, What is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator?

This is a test to identify what different traits people have. These include introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, feeling or thinking, and judging or perceiving.

This is a really interesting tool to use when trying to better understand yourself and also figure out what careers are better suited to you.

I hope you have a great rest of your day! Make good choices and see you next week!
