This is a very long overdue post but here it goes. Ugh… I am one blessed girl. Never in a million years would I have predicted my life would play out this way. I owe all that to God and the people that have helped me through the rough times. Grab your popcorn this is going to be a long one.

First up, my mother. Thank you, mom, for being the best mom a girl could ask for. I know we fight a lot… like way too much but just know I love you with all my heart and will literally give up my life for you to live forever. Ok, that got dark really quickly. Anyways, the point is I love you and give all the credit to you.

CCBC as a whole has been a fundamental part of my life even though I have only been here 15% of my life. It’s been a crazy ride and I have so many people to thank for everything.

Professor Barabara Carr, who was my first biology teacher changed my life in ways I am sure she doesn’t know. She made me fall in love with biology and 5 biology classes later I am grateful for stepping into her class in spring 2018. I like to say I was extremely lucky to have had your class because you retired after my class. Thank you Thank you Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Next up, THE AMAZING Ms. Lesley Low. I truly do not know how my life at CCBC would have turned out if I didn’t become an Ambassador. Thank you for this amazing opportunity that has opened doors for even more opportunities. I could not have asked for a better advisor, mentor, cheerleader, and friend. I only hope that all the future ambassadors read this and know just how amazing you are. There are not enough words to describe my gratitude. Thank you. Also, I am not just saying this because I know you are reading it lol.

Next up is Ms. Hope Davis. I still do not know why you have so much faith in me to let me blog but I am very appreciative. Thank you for always cheering me on and reading my blogs. There are not enough words I can use to express how grateful I am for this opportunity. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Next up, Professor Rudham. Your class was truly a once in a lifetime experience. I am one lucky girl to have sat in your class for a full semester. Thank you for making me a writer. I am still a mediocre one but I am way better because of you. Thank you, Thank you thank you.

Professor Mantler, your class was a dreamy experience. I loved everything about it but most importantly, the fact that you were down to help us even beyond our classwork. My Jack Kent Cooke application would have been incomplete without your help. Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to proofread my essays… multiple times may I add. Thank you for helping write a stellar recommendation letter. I could not have asked for a better teacher.

Dr. Cost, your class was only an hour-long but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I didn’t like chemistry in high school but you made me love it and most importantly understand it. I took chemistry alongside two biology classes and I was sure I wasn’t going to do well but I ended your class with 99%. I am still quite shocked at that lol. I don’t think I can ever get that score again so I will cherish Chem 107 forever.

Actually, I just realized that I owe everything to all my teachers and this would be an unbearably long post so I will make it shorter.

Dr. Page, Dr. Seltzer, I love both your classes so much I had to take you one more time. Thank you for helping me in classes that have been deemed difficult. Dr. Page, I was scared to take my first online class but even more scared because it was nutrition. I took it because I knew that if I could learn, understand and pass anatomy 2 with you, I can do anything as long as you are my teacher. Dr. Seltzer, I was genuinely scared to take my first honors class because I heard they are more difficult. The fact is I got lucky to have you as my first honors teacher and PSYC 103 really made me consider changing my major or minor to psychology. I am taking Psychobiology for fun but it has easily become my favorite class yet and I am just in the third week. Dr. Page, Dr. Seltzer, Thank you for changing my life twice.

Professor Osman, Professor Trivane, Professor Tinios, thank you for making me fall in love with English, Communications and holistic health respectively. I loved every minute I spent in your class and would cherish that forever.

To the nursing program, First name last name (you will only get this reference if you got rejected, oops). I am grateful for a rejection that truly opened doors to a lot of tears but more importantly opportunities like Emory, Phi Theta Kappa, and Jack Kent Cooke. Thank you so much. I owe it all to you. (well… not really)

And to everyone else that has helped me in one way or another, THANK YOU. Just know I truly couldn’t have done it without you. To Phi Theta Kappa, and the foundation thank you for giving me a chance and reminding me that I am good enough. I am more than lucky to be able to associate my name with yours. My life is complete with you in it.
