My life is nothing short of a struggle, and like most of you can relate to, it can be compared to a roller coaster, filled with highs and lows. At my lows there is anxiety, depression, and a sense of hopelessness brought on by everyday situations coupled with my busy schedule. And, when I experience my highs they are as a result of opportunities given to me that in my opinion I do not deserve nor am I qualified to take on, take for instance this blog.

My name is Grace Martins, and this is a sneak peek into my life.

I am currently a full-time, second-year student majoring in Nursing and I love every minute of it. I’m a member of the Essex Honors program, a new student life ambassador and I also work at the cafe, which can be found in the bookstore. (P.S. We make the best Frappuccino so be sure to stop by! It will be a great time to read my blogs while sipping your chill drink….umm!)

With so much going on in my life, you can be sure I have a lot of stories and advice to share. Did I also mention that I assist at Disability Student Services as an accessibility assistant? Why not? What’s one more thing!

College is a lot to handle. And I would know, because I am juggling a whole lot! I don’t really consider myself a writer, but hope by sharing my experiences, someone else will learn from my mistakes. I want this blog to be educational as well as entertaining.
