Monday
Day 1 of quarantine.
On Monday, I had to go to school because I left my camera SD card in the photography lab so I convinced my brother-in-law to leave the house and take me to school —it was either that or take the bus which was out of the question— so I made my way to school and considering that it was 11:30-noon it was a little shocking to not see the bustling of students around the campus. It honestly felt like walking through a ghost town almost like I’d walked into an episode of the walking dead. After this mini adventure, I returned to the walls of my apartment and did not leave.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Day 2, 3, and 4 of quarantine.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were pretty much identical to each other in that I did not do anything productive, instead I lay in bed, occasionally walked around the house, and was overall bored out of my mind.
Friday
Day 5 of quarantine.
Today, for the first time in a week, I had to brave the outside world. Granted it was just for a few minutes as I brought groceries out of the car because we’d officially ran out of food. Three stores, four hours later and a fridge full of food.
I hope everybody is doing ok. Stay safe everybody. Lots of love, Morwa
I thought that social media was a means of social distancing yourself but now I take that back. I am loosing it quickly in this house. Ever so often I’ll peep out the window at my car, although I know it’s not going nowhere, I really wish it could with me in it lol. I went to the market and stocked up on everything but thought that it would be over soon, I guess not. I’m still hopeful that something will change soon so I get up and get dressed just in case.
I can absolutely relate. It has been a challenge and as cliche as it sounds we really are all in this together. Sending lots of love your way.
Been on quarantine for a while. Left my last job in search of? Then Covid 19! Seriously thinking of starting a vet tech program. Thoughts on online training at this school?
Hi Susan, I think that CCBC is a great place to attend. I have no knowledge on the vet tech program but I am under the Science and Health Careers Pathway and I can honestly say that the professors and advisors are incredible people willing to help you with whatever you need. I wish you good luck with whatever you choose to do and don’t be afraid to reach out.
