I have always been a person that liked to do many things. All the interesting professions in the world amaze me and I want to be everything. An actor, an engineer, a basketball player, a football player, a mathematician, a traveler, a musician, everything. The only problem is, I don’t really know which one I like. I remember during my first years at CCBC, Sakina Ligon, the Student Government Program Coordinator at Essex said something that stuck with me. She said Community Colleges gives you many chances. That’s exactly what I needed.

Imagine the possibility. You could start with music and if its not the right fit, there are many other alternatives.

Finding what exactly you like while pay an extremely low price for it, giving you the opportunity to dip your hands in different field of study. Community college is really worth it. Go CCBC!!!

Also, there are extracurricular activities here at CCBC too. You’re an athlete? What!!!! You could go tryout for the teams CCBC has. Just know, don’t come talk to me if you’re not a Knight (just joking 😉) There are different sports you can play on each of the CCBC campuses. There are different clubs you can be a part of and also contribute to. Two of my friends started clubs here at CCBC and the clubs are doing really great. So you could do anything here at CCBC.

They always say something, “see what you can be”.
