Media Tips
Most people might know by now but incase you don’t, I’m a Digital Media Production Major. I love the arts and CCBC has an amazing arts department. Being in the world of media is truly a rollercoaster of emotions. Some people may say think it’s a walk in the park, but there is a lot to it.
When it comes to creating digital content, knowing what to write your projects about can be hard. Finding an idea that’s not already been thought of is close to impossible. But as long as you add your own flair, it’ll be authentic.
Finding people to use in your projects is difficult. One thing to take advantage of is the amount of like minded individuals there are on campus. Clubs like Film Society are perfect ways for CCBC artists to get a chance and collaborate on work. Not only will this fill the need for people, but it’s always a good idea to run your film ideas to others.
Once you’ve created several pieces of work, you’ll need to get it out there for people to see. Opportunities like the CCBC Student Film Festival are a way for student filmmakers to showcase their films.
