If you’ve been a student at CCBC for the last few years, you may have heard a lot about “Pathways”. If you don’t know what exactly that means, let me tell you a few things.

Academic Pathways are designed to help guide you along the way at CCBC. They’re based upon your chosen degree program or certificate. By choosing a Pathway, it helps to better determine what classes you should be taking, and when it’s best to take them. And will give you a better idea of what each semester will be like.

Plus being involved in your Pathway can help you get more involved all around school. It’s good to know people in and around your field of study. This will not only motivate you, but it will open new doors.

Make the most of your time in school, these are the moments to network and build connections. Learn from people who are pursuing that same thing, or even those who have been where you are. One of the best ways to do this, is by taking advantage of your Pathway and what it has to offer.

Take the time to get to know the Coordinator of your program. Ask them any questions you have, and listen to any advice they can give you. They have plenty of experience in their field, so they will be able to give advice on, what classes to take and job/internship opportunities.

Pathway events around campus are definitely something you should consider attending. They offer opportunities to help you further your education and career. There are some upcoming events that you should check out:
