Star Wars, Ragnarok, Ancient Greek gods and monsters, plus … Godzilla Eats Las Vegas! Conductor Chris Wolfe and the Baltimore Symphonic Band present a program of music for the whole family. The audience will enjoy hearing music from Jaws, Psycho, Game of Thrones along with a few special guest appearances, Elvis just may be in the theatre!!

About the Band

In residence at The Community College of Baltimore County Essex and established in 1981,  the Baltimore Symphonic Band utilizes the skills and talents of an all-volunteer membership. Musicians of all ages with a variety of musical backgrounds participate in the band out of the love of playing and performing music.

The Band has performed all over the state of Maryland, including the Baltimore Inner Harbor Concert Series, the Bel Air Concert Series, the Perry Hall Concert Series, the Aberdeen Concert Series, the Havre de Grace Concert Series, Charlestown Retirement Community, Oak Crest Village, Riderwood Village, St. Joseph’s Church and at The Music Forum at the Maryland Boychoir Center for the Arts.

During the summer of 2019, the Baltimore Symphonic Band toured Germany and the Czech Republic. Under the direction of Professor Christopher Wolfe, this fine ensemble performed concerts in Berlin and Leipzig in Germany, and in Mariánské Lánzě and Prague, Czech Republic. Under the musical direction of Christopher Wolfe, the band rehearses once a week from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.
