I welcome you all to the second week of classes!!. Although for many students, the beginning of spring semester is the middle of a school year, a brand new semester does bring new opportunities. From interactions with instructors to classmates, beginning on a positive note can make a world of difference for students. Share these helpful hints with your students to help them start the semester right.
I hope you are all doing well on this wonderful day! The reason for today’s post is to inform you of all the campus events coming soon you should NOT miss. You’ll be able to see some organizations that are offered, and probably get some freebies too. Who doesn’t want candy and free pens? Anyways, getting involved is a constructive way to spend your time, and if you join the club that interests you the most, you’ll probably have a lot of fun!

Today, Student life Ambassadors will be advertising the Get Involved Fair/Healthy snack on the Catonsville campus from 11am- 1pm. So, stop by and get some useful information about clubs and organizations on campus.
Today, The actual Get Involved Fair will be held at the Dundalk campus. I strongly advice you guys on the Dundalk campus to stop by grab some goodies and good information.
Also Today, There will be a Pathways Kickoff event on the Dundalk campus from 10:45 am – 2:00 pm . At this event, different pathways advisors will be given out information about their different pathways. I strongly advice you guys on the Dundalk campus to stop by and grab some free t-shirts and pens.
On Wed, Feb 8, Student life Ambassadors will be advertising the Get Involved Fair/Healthy snack again on the Dundalk campus from 11 am- 1 pm. So, stop by and get some useful information about clubs and organizations on campus before the actual Fair.
On Thurs, Feb 9, There will be a Get Involved Fair on the Catonsville campus from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm. Food and snacks will be served as always. So, stop by and get some useful information about clubs and organizations on campus. Most of the time, different clubs are on different campuses. For instance, Clubs in Catonsville may not be found at Essex or Dundalk. In some cases, the same club may have different “chapters” -such as: The Phi Theta Kappa on Catonsville is different from the Phi Theta Kappa on Dundalk and Essex, but are all governed by the same ‘constitution’.
Also On Thurs, Feb 9, Pathway experts and advisers will be hosting a Pathways Kickoff event on the Essex campus from 11:15 am – 1:30 pm and from 4:15 pm – 6:30 pm. I strongly advice you guys on the Dundalk campus to stop by and grab some free t-shirts and pens. If your major is probably still “undecided” at this point, I strongly urge you to attend this event.
On Friday, Feb 10, There will be a Get Involved Fair on the Essex campus from 11:00 am – 2:30 pm. Food and snacks will be served as always. So, stop by and get some useful information about clubs and organizations on campus. Most of the time, different clubs are on different campuses. For instance, Clubs in Essex may not be found at Catonsville or Dundalk.
On Tues, Feb 14, The Student life office on the Catonsville Campus will host a Valentine’s Day Event from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm. I’ve actually never been to this event in the past but I know the event will definitely be fun and exciting. Stop by with loved ones and enjoy the day.
On Mon, Feb 27, The Student life office on the Catonsville Campus will host a Casino Day Event from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm. I’ve also never been to this event in the past but I know the event will definitely be fun and educational. Technically, I’ll be at this event as a Student life Ambassador. You guys should really come to this event.
