The pandemic took the wind from our sail even before we were out of the harbor! Auditions for Moana, Jr. were cancelled. We just could not let all the talent go to waste! In lieu of a live performance, we’re posting videos submitted by our Court Jesters Young People’s Theatre actors and crew. They’re sharing memories, favorite shows, and scrapbooks. Based on the 2016 Disney animated movie Moana, about the strong-willed daughter of the chief of a Polynesian village, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with a goddess. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod, in the hope of returning the heart of Te Fiti and saving her people. The musical features songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Opetaia Foa’i.
