CCBC’s annual Commencement ceremony is the climax of our academic year.  As such, in spite of the dark days brought on by COVID-19, we are determined to conPresident Kurtinitis in commencement regalianect this wonderful event not only with our graduates and their families, but also with the broader CCBC community – our supporters, business partners and friends. Commencement is truly the hallmark of the good work that our faculty and staff do throughout the year.  It is a reward, not only for students and their families, but for the tremendous efforts made by hundreds across our institution.

CCBC’s 2020 Commencement ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2020.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, instead of entertaining 6,000 family and friends under a magnificent white tent at CCBC Essex, we will hold our first ever—and with luck, our last ever—virtual Commencement.  I encourage you to put the date on your calendars, visit our Commencement page for an agenda as well as speaker profiles and then prepare to join us to celebrate the accomplishments of our students! I dare say, they are well on their way to accomplishing remarkable things.
