Learn about this years alternate spring break. last year students traveled to the Florida Everglades to engage in environmental conservation and also Pine Ridge, South Dakota to collaborate with the re-member program.

Tuesday, November 20th- CCBC night at the Maryland Science Center
Students can enter the science center for free, and can purchase up to 4 guest tickets for $1 a piece. This will be a fun way to kick off Thanksgiving breaks with friends and family. Faculty and Staff tickets are also $1. Stop by your Student Life office with a copy of your fall schedule or your student ID to purchase your tickets!
“Back by popular demand: The IMAX Theatre (Show times and feature TBD). The Maryland Science Center offers guests the chance to learn from more than a dozen full-sized dinosaurs as they roam the Edward St. John Hall – home to Dinosaur Mysteries. Walk under, over and through a landscape filled with dig puts, a field lab, excavation sites and other areas of discovery. Elsewhere in the Science Center, you can get a closer look at the Blue Crab, one of the region’s foremost residents and the spotlight of an exhibit focusing on the Chesapeake Bay and its importance to Maryland. Other exhibits include: Newton’s Alley, Harbor Lobby, Human Body, Cells: The Universe Inside Us, OPIS, and three planetarium shows (7 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.). Planetarium tickets will be available at the door.”
