Story:

Sarah Ruhl adapts the classic Greek story with a focus on its heroine in this powerful play about grief, family, and the importance of letting go. When tragedy takes Eurydice to the underworld on the day of her wedding to Orpheus, she reunites with her late father and builds a new home there. But as Orpheus searches for a way to reach her, Eurydice faces the challenge of holding onto her memories in a place designed to forget.
