WHO’S WHO

ELISABETH JOHNSON (Sophie Sheridan)is thrilled to be back on the DCT stage after previously appearing as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate. Favorite roles include Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Annie in Annie, Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (Tidewater Players), Amber VonTussel in Hairspray (Cockpit in Court), Sharpay Evans in High School Musical (PFT) Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (JCS) and countless others. Away from the stage, Elisabeth is a Labor and Delivery RN at Franklin Square Hospital.
LIZZIE DETAR (Ali) is excited to be making her DCT debut! Lizzie has been doing theatre since the 3rd grade and recently earned her A.A in Theatre Performance From Harford Community College. Other local credits include, but are not limited to Newsies and Heathers both at Street Lamp Productions, Various Productions with the HCC Actors Guild, Legally Blonde at Phoenix Festival Theatre, and Rock of Ages at Milburn Stone Theatre.
HUNTER LUBAWSKI (Lisa) is ecstatic to be performing in her third production at DCT this season! After performing in Side Show and A Year with Frog and Toad, she is so excited to be back to complete the DCT trifecta! She is a recent graduate of Patapsco High School & CFA from the Performance Theatre Magnet, and currently attends CCBC majoring in Primary Education. Right now she is a dance teacher for Jean Kettell Studio of Dance and is a professional princess for The Neverland Company. Huge thank you to her family, friends, and her boyfriend Max!
RACHEL WEIR (Tanya) is excited to be performing for the first time with DCT.  Rachel’s favorite roles include Ulla in The Producers(Silhouette Stages), Rona in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Heritage Players), Charity Barnum in Barnum (Heritage Players), and Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly (Liberty Showcase Theatre). When not on stage, Rachel is a long distance runner and a homeschooling Mom to her four boys. All her love to her favorite leading men: Caleb, Nicholas, Jackson, and Ben.
ANDREA OSTROWSKI WILDASON (Rosie) is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform a bucket list role at one of her favorite theatres! You may have seen her at DCT as Vicky in The Full Monty, one of the three pigs in SHREK, or at Cockpit in Court Theatre playing Irene in Crazy for You. Other favorite roles in the Annapolis area are Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Maggie in A Chorus Line, and Sally in Me and My Girl. Her favorite role to date has been as Mother to her three boys Lucas, Conner and Noah and wife to her best friend Tod.
TATIANA DALTON (Donna Sheridan) returns to DCT after performing in The 39 Steps, Ruthless! (Judy),and The Addams Family (Morticia). Other local credits include Rock of Ages (Regina), Drowsy Chaperone (Janet), Legally Blonde (Vivienne), and Xanadu (Kira). Offstage Tatiana is a family medicine physician in York, PA. She would like to thank her family and friends, especially  Lily, Sofia, Addi and Ryan who she loves with all her heart!
SHANE LOWRY (Sky) is thrilled to be joining the DCT family and this production of Mamma Mia! He’s a three-time BroadwayWorld.com Award Winner for his roles in American Idiot, Spring Awakening, and The Fantasticks. Other roles include: Wolf/Prince (Into The Woods), Danny (Grease), Birdlace (Dogfight), Link (Hairspray), Tulsa (Gypsy), and Billy (Anything Goes). Special thanks to John, Gary and Nathan for this wonderful opportunity, shout out to this stellar cast who never cease to amaze me, and much love to Mom, Dad, Lizzie, Liz (Amber), Connor, Megan, and Emily. Shane will be performing the role of Chad in Cockpit in Court’s production of Disaster this coming June.  Enjoy the show!
ALEX DEVITO (Pepper) is a junior at Gilman School. Past credits include Hairspray:In Concert at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Newsies at Toby’s Dinner Theater, and productions at the Bryn Mawr and Roland Park schools. Alex has competed in dance competitions, with multiple regional and national title wins. He is so grateful to be welcomed into the DCT family.
CONNOR KISS (Eddie) is super excited to be in his first production at DCT! Other theatre productions include Tarzan at The John Carroll School, Chess at Tidewater Players, Hairspray at CPM, and The Addams Family at PFT. Connor is also going to be in Disaster and Nice Work if You Can Get It at Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre.  Connor would like to thank the cast and production team for making this such an amazing experience!
GREG DOHMEIER (Harry Bright) is proud to a part of another DCT production. DCT productions include Titanic, Cinderella, Annie and Annie Get Your Gun. Other local credits include Bye Bye Birdie, Suessical and Beauty and the Beast at Archangel Players, Sister Act at Cockpit in Court Theatre, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Just Off Broadway and Once Upon a Mattress at Suburban Players. By day, Greg is an associate medical director for MedStar Family Choice.
ROGER SCHULMAN (Bill Austin) is performing in his 12th production at DCT. Favorite DCT roles include Moonface Martin in Anything Goes, Juror #8 in Twelve Angry Men, Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,  and Vice Principal Panch in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Other favorite roles include Edna in Hairspray, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, and Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. Roger is the President of the Fund for Educational Excellence in Baltimore City.
EDWARD J. PETERS (Sam Carmichael) has performed in over 100 productions in the Baltimore area. At DCT, his credits include Albin/Zsa Zsa in La Cage Aux Folles, Will Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies, Horace Vandergelder in Hello Dolly and Neville Craven in The Secret Garden. Other local credits include Sweeney in Sweeney Todd, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, John Wilkes Booth in Assassins and Flaminio Scala in The Glorious Ones. Internationally, he has represented the US performing at various theatre festivals in France, Germany, Japan, China, and Ukraine.
JILLIAN ARNOLD (Ensemble) is excited to be make her debut with DCT! Other performance and choreography credits include Something’s Afoot, The Music Man, Jekyll & Hyde, and The Producers at Third Wall Productions, Once Upon a Mattress at Artistic Synergy of Baltimore, and Annie at St. Gabriel Miracle Players. Jillian’s favorite role is “Mom” to her beautiful son, Grayson. Thank you cast and production team!
OLIVIA AUBELE (Ensemble) is thrilled to return to DCT after performing in Catch Me If You Can. She was recently nominated for a Cappie Award  for her ensemble performance of The Goddess of Love, Erzulie, at Notre Dame Prep where she is a junior. No stranger to local audiences, she has played Lina Lamont in Singing in the Rain; Patsy in Crazy for You! ; Teen Fiona in Shrek; Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act!; Emma in Emma!; and Gabrielle in Cinderella. Other roles include Oliver in Oliver!; Mazie in Seussical!; Ermangarde in Hello Dolly; Amaryllis in The Music Man; and Marta in The Sound of Music. She recently made her NYC debut at Joe’s Pub performing as a soloist in the Cabaret All You Need is Love! She has performed locally for CPM, Patapsco High School, DCT, and The Vagabonds! She studies voice with Jenn Viets, Piano with Amy Kwon and Dance with Julie Foley at Upper Falls Dance Academy
SCOTT BABUS (Father Alexandrios) is happy to be performing in his first production with DCT. Local credits include: 42nd Street at Cockpit in Court, A Chorus Line at CCBC Catonsville, Oklahoma at The Heritage Players, The Boyfriend at the Peabody Institute. ANGELA BOEREN (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her DCT debut. No stranger to the stage, Angela has been performing since she was three years old!  Her favorite performances include Tarzan, Shrek, Mary Poppins and Pippin with her high school, John Carroll, as well as The Addams Family, West Side Story and Thoroughly Modern Millie with The Children’s Playhouse of MD. After her upcoming graduation, she will be attending Shippensburg University majoring in Art Education, B.A. K-12 Certification, while also twirling baton with the Red Raiders Marching Band.
LIBBY BURGESS (Ensemble) is happy to be returning to DCT for the fifth time. In 2014, she was awarded “Best Featured Actress in a Musical” by DC Metro Theater Arts for her performance as “Cosette” in Les Misérables with Glyndon Area Players. Favorite past roles also include “Judy Haynes” in White Christmas, Logainne in Spelling Bee, Fraulein Kost in Cabaret, Helen Burns in Jane Eyre: The Musical, Emily Arden in State Fair, and Lily St. Regis in Annie. Other past credits include The Addams Family, 9 to 5, All Shook Up, and Jane Eyre at DCT as well as Legally Blonde and Crybaby at Silhouette Stages. A huge thanks to the production team, cast, and her family for being so supportive.
NICK BROGAN (Ensemble) is a junior at Mt. Hebron High School and is thrilled to be making his DCT debut in Mamma Mia! Some favorite previous credits include Newsies (Jack Kelly), Urinetown (Bobby Strong) & West Side Story (Riff). He would like to thank John, Gary, Nathan, Megan, his bro, Max and his extremely talented cast. Enjoy the show!
AVA CORRELLI (Ensemble) is performing in her first production with DCT and is excited to have the opportunity to perform in Mamma Mia!! Ava has performed with Children’s Playhouse of Maryland since she was ten years old and has also performed with Beth Tfiloh’s Community Theater. Ava is seventeen and is dual enrolled at CCBC while still in high school. Ava hopes to finish her Associate of Fine Arts degree by the time she graduates from high school. Ava has helped as an intern choreographer for Children’s Theater and helps run weekend acting classes for kids. She hopes to continue with dancing and musical theater for rest of her life, and hopes to continue working with amazing casts just like this one.
JAMIE DOGGETT (Ensemble) is excited to be a part of his first production here with DCT. Some of his previous roles include, Ringmaster/James Bailey in Barnum (The Heritage Players), Ensemble in James and the Giant Peach (The Heritage Players), Ensemble in Once on This Island (Young Artists of America), Junior in Choir Boy  (CCBC Academic Theatre Department) , U.K. World premiere of Prospect Height: Brooklyn (Tristan Bates Theater). James is a 2016 graduate of The  Baltimore School for the Arts.
KATIE GARDNER (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her debut with DCT. Some of her most memorable roles include Cindy Lou Huffington in The Marvelous Wonderettes, Stephanie Necrophorus in Nine, and Yellow Girl in Shout! The Mod Musical. When not performing, Katie is in her 8th year of teaching physical education in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She enjoys coaching the dance team at her school. In her spare time, Katie supports and performs in the local music scene and attends music festivals. She would like to thank her family, Mike, and her friends for their endless love and support.
ALLISON NAGLIERI (Ensemble) is excited to be making her debut at DCT.  She has been performing since the age of nine.  Recent/Favorite credits include Caitlin Gabriel in The Library with Trapdoor, Anybodys in West Side Story with Children’s Playhouse of Maryland, Babette in Calvert Hall’s production of Beauty and the Beast and a featured role in Edges at Carver Center for the Arts. She also enjoyed assistant directing The Children’s Playhouse production of A Christmas Carol. Allison will be graduating from Carver Center this spring and will be attending Florida Southern College in the fall with a dual major in Elementary Education and Theatre Performance. She would like to thank everyone involved in this production for providing such an amazing experience.
EVAN NEUFELD (Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his DCT debut in Mamma Mia! Recently he performed in Rockville Musical Theatre’s Altar Boyz, and Anything Goes, as well as Spring Awakening at Wildwood Summer Theatre. When not onstage, Evan attends Towson University, where he is studying Speech Pathology, and is on the board of his fraternity, Sigma Chi.
MAX NZONE (Ensemble) is so excited to be in his first DCT production of Mamma Mia! Past shows include Les Miserables (Javert), Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Lady Hyacinth), and Wizard of Oz (Uncle Henry). His hobbies include video games, playing music, and breakdancing. He would like to thank John Desmone for giving him this amazing opportunity, his friend Nick for doing the show with him, and the talented cast for being so amazing in rehearsals.
KATE PRICE (Ensemble) is thrilled to perform in her first show with DCT! She graduated from UMBC with a BA in Dance in 2014, and is happy to be performing again. Kate has always loved dance and theatre, performing in Once on This Island, Anything Goes, The Music Man, Pippin, Suessical (Perry Hall High School), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Pizazz Show Choir). Away from the stage, Kate works in the communications and marketing world.
DORIAN SMITH (Ensemble) is excited to be a part of the amazing cast performing Mamma Mia! at DCT! He has performed in CCBC’s Working, The Musical and Love’s Labour’s Lost; Cockpit in Court’s The Little Mermaid, DCT’s  Side Show, CPM’s The Addams Family, and Crazy for You Jr. and Beth Tfiloh’s Man of La Mancha. Dorian has been trained professionally in ballet and modern dance from Peabody’s Dance program in Baltimore, during which, he toured Maryland, inspiring other young men to dance with a piece choreographed by Clay Taliaferro. He is currently in his last semester at CCBC, and plans to transfer to Towson University to pursue a double major in acting and dance. He would like to thank his parents, siblings, and grandmother for their support.
JOHN DESMONE (Director) began directing theatrical productions in the Baltimore region over 40 years ago right here at DCT with Promises, Promises in 1977. Over 100 productions later, he is pleased to return to DCT, his favorite venue, to direct Mamma Mia! Some favorites of his 23 DCT shows include A Little Night Music, Will Rogers Follies, City of Angels, Ruthless, the Musical, which was named one of the top 10 shows of 2015 by the Maryland Theatre Guide, and, most recently, Shrek, the Musical. A recognized stage performer, John has appeared in numerous featured roles ranging from John Adams in 1776 and Roger DeBris in The Producers to Felix in The Odd Couple and George in Of Mice and Men –both here at DCT.  Mr. Desmone is the Executive Director for Towson University in Northeastern Maryland.
MARC W. SMITH (Scenic/Lighting/Sound Designer/Technical Director) has been involved in theatre for over 40 years and has been responsible for designing or technically directing over 350 productions. With B.A. and M.F.A. degrees in Technical Theatre and Design from Towson University, he has been the full time Technical Director for CCBC Dundalk since 1980.  In addition, he is the theatre technical consultant for the CCBC Catonsville and Essex theatre facilities. Marc has received numerous technical theatre achievement awards from The United States Institute of Theatre Technology.  Several of his production designs have been displayed in juried expositions including A Little Night Music and The Cemetery Club for technical achievement and Bus Stop for Scenic and Lighting Design.  Marc’s scenic and lighting designs for the CCBC Essex production of Zombie Prom were part of the finalists in the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and his lighting design for the DCT production of I Do, I Do, won “Best Lighting Design” at the Maytime International Theatre Festival in Ireland.
NATHAN SCAVILLA (Musical Director/Pit Conductor) has music directed / conducted at DCT on several productions including:  Shrek, Little Women, The Addams Family, Leader of The Pack.  For Cockpit in Court his credits include: Sister Act, Godspell, The Wedding Singer, and Me and My Girl. At Purple Light Theatre: Little Shoppe of Horrors, Hairspray, and Title of Show. At Silhouette Stages: Legally Blonde, Cry Baby, and Young Frankenstein. Nathan also keyboard conducts at Toby’s Dinner Theatre. Those credits include: The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mamma Mia, Dreamgirls, Joseph…Dreamcoat, Sister Act, Hairspray, and The Addams Family. Nathan thanks his family for all their support!
GARY MARSHALL DIETER (Choreographer) is so happy to be working with this particular production team on this exciting production. More than that, he is so very proud of the talented dancers he has assembled for this production and how hard they have worked to bring his choreographic visions to life. Gary has been teaching for the past 30 years in numerous capacities. He has served on the faculty at Peabody, Carver Center for Arts and Technology, and his own studio, GD Studio for the Performing Arts. He was an integral part in developing the dance curriculum for Baltimore County Magnet school dance programs including Carver Center and Patapsco Center. Gary has received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Towson University for his contributions to Dance Education in the community and has received a Helen Hayes Nomination for his portrayal of Sparky in Toby’s production of Forever Plaid. “Baltimore’s Tap Dance Kid” is currently teaching advanced tap classes at Upper Falls Dance Academy and also conducts Master Classes for advanced students across the country. Gary’s performing career includes featured roles at many major theatres in the Baltimore/Washington area. DCT audiences will remember him as the crazy Donkey in SHREK. When he’s not tapping here on the ground, Gary is light as air on a Southwest 737! This one is for my Mamma…cause somewhere in the crowd there’s you.
TRACY BIRD (Costume Designed/Stage Garb Costuming) is happy to be back at DCT after costuming DCT’s production of  Shrek . Past shows include Nice Work If You Can Get It, two other productions of Mamma Mia!, Something’s Afoot, Pippin, and Hairspray. After Mamma Mia!, she will be building a set of Beauty and the Beast Jr costumes for 2019, for elementary and middle schools.
TRACEYANN TOKAR-SMITH (Production Stage Manager) is pleased to be calling the show for the cast and crew of Mamma Mia, her fourth DCT production this season. She also stage managed DCT’s There’s No Business Like Show Business,Side Show, and A Year with Frog and Toad. Previously at DCT, she directed Shadowlands, stage managed The Bridges of Madison County, A Few Good Men, Something’s Afoot,and Rumors, and was Properties Manager for A Year with Frog and Toad, Side Show, Catch Me If You Can, Something’s Afoot, and My Fair Lady.She also stage managed Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean at Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre this past summer. Other directing credits includeThree Tall Women at Cockpit and Court Summer Theatre, Rimers of Eldritch at McDaniel College, Arsenic and Old Lace at Vagabonds Theatre, and Billy Would Have Been Thirty Today for the Baltimore Playwrights’ Festival.  Away from the stage, TraceyAnn works as a middle school Literature, Language Arts, and Social Studies teacher at Sisters Academy of Baltimore in Lansdowne, MD.
MEGAN MILLANE (Rehearsal Stage Manager/Spot Operator)is excited to be working backstage once again at DCT. Along with being a DCT Board member, she enjoys working as stage manager, running crew, light board operator, and follow spot operator at several theaters around the Baltimore area, including The Heritage Players, (Catonsville, former Board Member), Spotlighters Theatre (Baltimore), Vagabond Players (Fells Point), and Silhouette Stages (Columbia). Up next, you will find her running lights at Cockpit in Court’s   productions of Disaster! and Nice Work if You Can Get It. Thanks to John, Nathan, Gary, and this awesome and talented cast and crew – she has loved working with you all!
LISA L. BOEREN (Properties Manager) has worked on over fifty productions in the Baltimore area for many companies including Timonium Dinner Theatre, Spotlighters Theatre, The Matthew Players, Tony’s Troubadours, Rising Star Productions, Mornington Players and Merrick’s Dinner Theatre, which she managed with her husband Al for three years.  Lisa is the Box Office Manager for CCBC and also serves as the Administrative Manager for Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre. In her spare time, she sits on the Board of Directors for Dundalk Community Theatre and is the treasurer for the Twirltastix Boosters. She is thrilled to be sharing this production with her hubby, Al on stage crew as well as Andrew playing in the orchestra and Angela making her DCT stage debut!
