WHO’S WHO

ALLISON COMOTTO (Ariel) is thrilled to be back on the Cockpit in Court stage. Favorite past roles include: Wendla in Spring Awakening, (Spotlighters Theatre), Wednesday in The Addams Family (Dundalk Community Theatre), Carrie in Carousel (JHU Barnstormers), and Marian in The Music Man (Children’s Playhouse of Maryland). Big thanks to Andrew, Rob, and Karlie for their endless patience and support. Special shout-out to Jim for being a real-life Prince Charming. And an ocean of love to Jillian for the gift of her direction and friendship. Thank you for being a part of my world.
JIM BAXTER (Prince Eric) is thrilled to return to the Cockpit in Court stage. His last shows here were Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Wedding Singer. Other local credits include Catch Me If You Can, The Addams Family, and Spring Awakening. Jim would like to thank his Mom for always being in the audience, and probably crying. Jim would like to give a special thank you to his wonderful and patient girlfriend, Allison. To any parents reading this, feel free to tell your kids later that Prince Eric and Ariel really love each other, even when they’re not pretending to on stage!
NICHOLAS PEPERSACK (Grimsby) is proud to be continuing his own personal theatrical renaissance by returning to Cockpit in Court fourteen years after he appeared as Lewis in the 2004 season’s production of Pippin.  A ten-show veteran of the children’s theatre here, Nicholas ended his decade-long hiatus from acting this May with his turn as General Glossop in Jeykll and Hyde for Third Wall Productions.  He would like to thank Jillian for giving him this wonderful opportunity to return to his old stomping grounds, and he appreciates that the cast and crew have welcomed him to this amazing show without question or pause.  Much love to his parents, sister, and girlfriend for their continued support as he works to find his place once again in the Baltimore theatre community.
ADRIEN AMRHEIN (Flounder) is proud to be part of The Little Mermaid. His previous performances include Pugsley in The Addams’ Family, Fiona’s father in Shrek, Salt in Beauty and the Beast, Young Simba in The Lion King, Billy in Assassins, Gavroche in Les Miserables, previously appeared as Flounder in The Little Mermaid, and as a Cowboy in Crazy for You. Adrien thanks the directors of tonight’s production and his family for their support.  Enjoy the Show!
GARY DIETER (Scuttle) is happy to be working with this particular production team on this exciting production and so happy to take flight once again as Scuttle. His first role on the Cockpit stage was Tom Thumb in Barnum. Cockpit audiences will also remember him as Bobby in Crazy for You, Wilbur in Hairspray and Patsy in Spamalot. Other favorite roles include, Donkey in SHREK, Leo in The Producers, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, Huck in Big River, George in George M!, and Leaf in Spelling Bee. Gary has received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Towson University for his contributions to Dance Education in the community and has received a Helen Hayes Nomination for his portrayal of Sparky in Toby’s production of Forever Plaid. Gary has served on the faculty at Peabody, Carver Center for Arts and Technology, and his own studio, GD Studio for the Performing Arts. “Baltimore’s Tap Dance Kid” is currently teaching advanced tap classes at Upper Falls Dance Academy. When he’s not tapping here on the ground, Gary is light as air on a Southwest 737! Thinking of you Mom and your love for the ocean – you always made sure those Seagulls were well fed!  AWWWK!
MARK LLOYD (King Triton) is excited to be making his debut on the Cockpit in Court stage with such a talented and amazing cast and production team.  Bringing life to such a beloved Disney classic has been a complete joy.  You may have seen Mark in other recent Baltimore area productions including Catch Me If You Can  as Roger Strong (Dundalk Community Theatre), Titanic: The Musical as Jim Ferrell (Heritage Players), Shrek The Musical as Big Bad Wolf (Dundalk Community Theatre), and Assassins as Czolgosz (Phoenix Festival Theatre).  When not treading the boards, Mark spends his work week as a Technical Recruiter for Tenable.  As always, Mark sends his love and thanks to his friends and family (and especially JM) for all their support!
DEREK COOPER (Sebastian) is appearing in his first show with Cockpit in Court. He was most recently seen as Agent Dollar in Dundalk Community Theatre’s Catch Me If You Can. Derek has also worked with Pumpkin Theatre, Laurel Mill Playhouse, How Do You Like Me Now Productions, and Fluid Movement. When he’s not performing, Derek is the Early Childhood & Theatre Specialist for Port Discovery Children’s Museum. He would like to thank the cast, crew and production team for being so wonderful to work with and his family and friends for their never-ending love and support.
JOSH SCHOFF (Flotsam) is thrilled to be back on the Cockpit stage! Recent credits: Avenue Q (Princeton), 1776 (Joseph Hewes), Oklahoma (Jud Fry), Heathers (Ram Sweeney), Into The Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince). JONAH WOLF (Jetsam) is very excited to be a part of The Little Mermaid. Jonah is a senior at Calvert Hall College High School where he has been involved with the theatre department since his freshman year. He would like to thank the incredible team behind this production. Specifically, Jonah would like to thank Jillian Bauersfeld for her 11 years of directing him and wish her and her family the best of luck. Additionally, Jonah would like to thank Kelly Kamp for helping him grow as a performer and his mother for repairing all of the pants that he rips during rehearsals. Enjoy the show!
HOLLY GIBBS (Ursula) is thrilled and humbled to be under the Sea this summer playing one of her all-time favorite villains!  She was last seen here in Nunsense as Sister Robert Ann, and before that as Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, and Shelby in Steel Magnolias. As an actor she has worked with Baltimore Shakespeare Factory, Fells Point Corner Theatre, Spotlighters, and Single Carrot among others.  At the 2014 Bad Oracle Awards, Holly received the Award for “Best Actress in a Play”, for her performance in God of Carnage.  She would like to thank her posse of fabulous friends and family for all their love support, and Jillian for this bucket-list opportunity.
BRIAN JACOBS (Chef Louis) was last seen in Catch Me If You Can at DCT.  Other local roles include Sylvia St. Croix in Ruthless!, Mal Beinecke in The Addams Family, Hannah in La Cage Aux Folles, Jerry in The Full Monty, and Jim in All Shook Up.  He can also be seen sailing the murky waters of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor as Jellyfish Jenkins with Urban Pirates.
ELISABETH JOHNSON (Andrina/Princess) is thrilled to be back on the Cockpit stage after previously being seen as Amber Von Tussel in Hairspray in 2011. Previous favorite roles include Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Charlotte in 13! The Musical, Annie in Annie, Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (Tidewater), Sharpay Evans in High School Musical (PFT, CPM) Elaine Robinson in The Graduate (DCT), Wendy in Peter Pan, Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed…Without Really Trying, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (JCS). When not sprinting up the hill to rehearsal, Elisabeth is a Labor and Delivery nurse at Franklin Square Medical Center. Much love and many thanks to this cast and her Mom. 
ELLEN MANUEL  (Aquata/Princess) is absolutely thrilled to be a part of the talented cast of The Little Mermaid! Favorite roles include Ilse in Spring Awakening and The Dragon in Shrek: The Musical. She’d like to thank the production and directorial team for the opportunity – additional thanks to her incredible family, amazing friends, and wonderful husband for all their love and support. KAITLYN JONES (Atina/Princess) is thrilled to be making her Cockpit in Court debut. She currently attends James Madison University, studying Nursing and Theatre. Her favorite local performances include Jane in Disney’s Tarzan, The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot, and Mama Noah in Children of Eden. She sends love to her incredible family, as well as the cast and crew, and a special thank you to Jillian Bauersfeld for being the best role model and friend she could ask for. EMILY CAPLAN (Adella) is excited to be appearing in her first production at Cockpit in Court! She will be a sophomore at West Chester University in the fall and studies Music Education. Most recent credits include Eponine in Les Misérables at The Artistic Children’s Theatre in Monkton and Heather Chandler in Heathers the Musical with Tidewater Players.
MALARIE ZEEKS (Arista/Princess) is beyond excited to be in her first Cockpit in Court production, especially since it’s the musical version of her favorite Disney movie! Favorite roles include Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Betty Haynes in White Christmas, Marge in Bridges of Madison County, and Fiona in Shrek the Musical. A huge thank you and big hugs to her loving husband and parents for their never ending support and to the cast and crew for all of their hard work on this magical show.
HANNAH BARTLETT (Allana/Princess) is excited to be appearing in this show. She has been a part of many productions since her early high school career, including Urinetown, in which she played the part of happy-go-lucky Hope Cladwell, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in which she played the part of Rosemary Pilkington. She is looking forward to furthering her music and acting careers while making new friends in the process.
NICOLE ARRISON  (Ensemble/Seagull) is excited to be performing in another Cockpit in Court production after appearing in Sister Act last summer. She has performed in many productions within different companies in Maryland, such as Children’s Playhouse of Maryland, Phoenix Festival Theater Company, and more; some of her favorite musicals within these companies have been A Chorus Line (Connie), Hello Dolly (Minnie Fay),and Legally Blonde (Delta Nu)She also has performed in productions at her current college, Stevenson University
OLIVIA AUBELE (Ensemble/Seagull) is thrilled to be a part of this production of The Little Mermaid! No stranger to local audiences, some of her favorite roles include Lina Lamont in Singing in the Rain and Gabrielle in Cinderella. She most recently made her NYC debut at Joe’s Pub performing as a soloist in the Cabaret “All you need is love!” She has performed locally for CPM, Patapsco High School, DCT, and The Vagabonds! She would like to thank everyone who helped put this wonderful production together!
AMY BELL  (Ensemble)  is delighted to be part of this production. Previous stage credits include: Golde in Fiddler on the Roof (Spotlighters Theatre), Candy Starr in…Cuckoo’s Nest (Spotlighters Theatre), Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show (Tidewater Players), Honey in Bingo: A Winning Musical (Spotlighters Theatre), and Featured Phantom/ Dance Captain in The Rocky Horror Show (Spotlighters Theatre). Amy is an avid cosplayer, and when not on stage can generally be found sitting behind a sewing machine or tucked in a corner with a pile of sequins. LANOREE BLAKE  (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in her first show at Cockpit. Recent credits include Love, Loss and What I Wore and She Kills Monsters at Spotlighters, and Inherit the Wind at Vagabond players. You can see her by day as a pirate in Fells Point. Shed like to thank Jillian for all the lessons she’s taught her over these past few years, and for including her in this last big hurrah. Also to her dog Helena for being excited every night when she comes home.
KATELYN BLOMQUIST (Ensemble/Seagull) is a Professional Princess from Provo, Utah, and she is thrilled to be a part of Cockpit in Court’s Summer Season! In the past, some of her most noteworthy roles have included The Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland Jr, Amy March in Little Women, and The Ostrich in Peter Pan. She is so thankful for the opportunity she has had to be apart of this wonderful production and looks forward to the amazing opportunities Maryland has to offer.
KARLI BURNHAM  (Ensemble/Seagull) is thrilled to be working her first Cock Pit Show. She has been dancing in the Baltimore area since the age of five. From then she’s had many opportunities dancing for many companies including Frostburg State Dance Company. She started choreographing a couple years ago for Energy Performing Arts Company, Calvert Hall’s West Side Story, Dance Conservatory of Maryland and many more. I  would like to thank my friend and director Jill for the numerous opportunities over the past few years, without you I wouldn’t have gotten to do any of this. Thank you to the fantastic cast of Little Mermaid for putting up with my craziness. You are all amazing and break a leg!
KELSEY FEENEY  (Ensemble/Seagull) is so excited to be making her debut on the Cockpit Mainstage! Kelsey has performed in shows with Phoenix Festival Theater (PFT), John Carroll School Summer Community Theater (JCSSCT), and Children’s Playhouse of Maryland (CPM). Previous and favorite roles include Andrina in “The Little Mermaid” (PFT), Wendy Darling in “Peter Pan” (JCSSCT), Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” (CPM), and Sheila in “A Chorus Line” (CPM). Kelsey is a sophomore majoring in Occupational Therapy at Towson University. She would like to thank the entire production staff, cast, and crew for all their hard work putting together this amazing show!
SHANI GOLOSKOV (Ensemble) is excited to be back onstage after a two-year break! This is her first time on the Cockpit in Court stage. Previous experience includes Catch Me If You Can, Man of La Mancha, and Les Miserables. She sends her love and thanks to her amazing, incredibly supportive family, and to Josh Schoff (Flotsam) for refusing to let her back out of auditioning. A big thank you to the cast and crew of this beautiful show for giving her such an awesome first experience at Cockpit, and a bigger thanks to Jillian for giving her the opportunity to be in Little Mermaid!
AARON HANCOCK  (Ensemble/Pilot) is so happy to be back for his second show at Cockpit and court, he was previously in The Wedding Singer. Aaron just graduated from Towson University with his BFA in Acting. He would like to thank everyone for coming to support the arts!!
MARK JOHNSON, JR.  (Ensemble) is appearing in The Little Mermaid. Fresh off of being an ensemble member in Dundalk Community Theater’s Catch Me If You Can, is diving right back into the community theater scene, and is hoping to make a big splash with his newfound cast mates.
DORIAN SMITH (Ensemble) is excited to be part of the cast of The Little Mermaid.  This is his third season with Cockpit in the Court at CCBC. His recent credits include, Seaweed in CPM’s Hairspray, Pablo in Cockpit in the Court’s Sister Act,  Action in CPM’s West Side Story, and Boyet in CCBC’s Love’s Labour Lost, Musical. Dorian is trained also in classical ballet and modern dance from Peabody Institute. He has studied under tutelage of greats like Clay Taliaferro and Paul Taylor. He would love to thank his family for their support.
IAN SMITH  (Ensemble) is excited to be part of the cast.  This is his first season with Cockpit in the Court. Previously, he has performed with Children’s Playhouse of Maryland in Elf Jr. (Mr. Greenway), and in Crazy for You, Jr.  (Ensemble). He is a student at CCBC, majoring in Computer Science. He would like to thank his mother, father, grandmother, and siblings (one of whom is also in the cast) for all their support.
JOSE REYES TENEZA  (Ensemble) is ecstatic over debuting for Cockpit In Court after a near two year hiatus from performing. Jose was most recently in the ensemble for the well-received Sweet Charity, fulfilling a lifelong dream of dancing in the style of Bob Fosse. Jose’s favorite roles include Dr. Lyman in Bus Stop, Dale Harding in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Phantom in Rocky Horror Show and Bun Foo in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Jose has also had the opportunity to follow in his dance idol Paula Abdul’s footsteps and choreograph two musicals – Altar Boyz which was also directed by the amazing Jillian Locklear Bauersfeld and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Jose was also seen in seasons one and two of Landra V. Phillips’ Chocolate City The Series, a YouTube web series. Jose feels blessed to be able to have theatre as a creative outlet / escape from his demanding job as a Baltimore City Public Defender. Special thanks to his husband Scooter for putting up with him and rehearsal schedules, Dan Snyder for igniting the performing bug, and Emily Biondi for being a constant inspiration to live life to the fullest.
JILLIAN BAUERSFELD (Director) is making her directing debut with Cockpit. She has worked as a director, choreographer, actor and theatre educator in the Baltimore DC since 2006. Her credits include, Directing: Spring Awakening, Tick…Tick…Boom, Altar Boyz, Fiddler on the Roof (Spotligters). Choreography: Rocky Horror Show, Mame Acting: Crazy for YouCabaret, Catch Me if you Can and DC Synetic Theatre Co. Jillian was the theatre director at Calvert Hall from 2007-2017 and is the founder and director of Energy Performing Arts Co. She thanks her husband John and 3 sons for their unending support.
ANDREW WORTHINGTON (Music Director) is a chorus teacher and theater director for Baltimore County Public Schools and a graduate of Towson University with a BS in Music Education. On this stage you may have seen him as Robbie Hart in Cockpit’s The Wedding Singer and Tony in CCBC’s West Side Story. A newcomer to the music director role, Andrew would like to extend a huge thank you to Jillian for this incredible opportunity, Rob, Karli, and the rest of the production team for their incredible work on this production, and the phenomenally talented and hard-working cast and pit orchestra for their dedication in a great performance.
KARLI BURNHAM (Choreographer) is thrilled to be working her first Cock Pit Show. She has been dancing in the Baltimore area since the age of five. From then she’s had many opportunities dancing for many companies including Frostburg State Dance Company. She started choreographing a couple years ago for Energy Performing Arts Company, Calvert Hall’s West Side Story, Dance Conservatory of Maryland and many more. MICHAEL RASINSKI (Set Designer) is happy to be returning to Cockpit in Court for his 13th season. He is an Alumnus of Towson University’s Theatrical Design and Production program. Michael also works as a carpenter for the Everyman Theatre and for CCBC’s Academic Theatre Program.
BRENT TOMCHIK (Sound Designer) is an audio technician and sound designer living in Catonsville, MD. This is his first production with Cockpit in Court. He is grateful for being able to work with Jillian Bauersfeld and her enthusiastic vision again. He would like to thank her, Terry, espresso, the Freesound community, and the staff of Cockpit in Court for the opportunity.
