BROADUS NESBITT, III (Jason) has appeared at CCBC in The Verge as Anthony, and in Father Comes Home from the War. Outside of CCBC he was in Hamlet and Cool Jack Jam at Arena Players. Although he loves acting, he has a passion for animals and would like to become an animal care technician while maintaining his acting career.
JESS MATTHIAS (Hera) is from the beautiful island of St. Thomas. Last spring, she appeared in Father Comes Home from the Wars as Runaway Slave #2, where she was awarded the Certificate of Merit in “Chorus Ensemble Execution” from the KC/ACTF. She also appeared as Gina in In My Mind, a CCBC short film. She plans to graduate this spring as a theatre major with an Associates in Fine and Performing Arts. Jess would like to thank her cast mates, stage manager and director for making this experience.
KIMI COOK (Athena) has participated in productions at Kenwood High School and Becker College, such as The Addams Family and Basements and Basilisks, a D&D inspired play written by her and five other Becker College Drama Club members. Kimi is about to be a published author of a fantasy series, a YouTube animator, and is working towards getting her business degree to open an animal shelter in Essex, Maryland.
DOMINIQUE BURGESS (Medea) is delighted to be performing in her second production at CCBC Essex, following her debut in Hand to God (Jessica/Jolene). She is a Music Major and a sophomore at CCBC.
JUAN HUNTER (Idmon and others) is very excited to return to the F. Scott Black theatre. He played Dr. Rank in A Doll House, also directed by Nancy Murray. Other productions he has been in with the college include The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, The Consumables, and Fat Pig. Juan intends to move to Atlanta in 2020 to pursue film, and hopes you all enjoy our Greek adventure!
MAX WOLF (Meleager and others) is thrilled to make his CCBC debut. Some of his favorite credits include Rooster in Annie and Al Deluca in A Chorus Line, both at Patapsco High school, Chip Tolentino in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at ASOB, Carmen Ghia in The Producers at Third Wall Productions, and Jack in Into the Woods at Phoenix Theatre Festival. Max also teaches an improv troupe at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts. He would like to thank his friends and family for the constant support and love they bless him with every day. A special thanks to his good pal Francesco for introducing him to this crazy theatre family. And lastly, he would like to thank his girlfriend Hunter for simply being the MVP.
MAGS CAREY (Castor and others) is appearing in their first performance at CCBC Essex and is a second year Theatre major. Past roles include Orcus in She Kills Monsters, Geronte in The Liar, Donny and Father of the Bride in The Wedding Singer, and Bobbie’s Father in Eastland, all at Patapsco High School.
FRANCESCO LEANDRI (Pollux and others) returns to CCBC Essex after appearing last season in Father Comes Home from the Wars. A second-year Theatre and Education major, Francesco has worked crew for CCBC Essex’s production of Hand to God, as well as Patapsco High School’s production of Eastland. Francesco plans on transferring to Towson University to continue their theatre and education studies.
TATE ERICKSON (Hercules and others) a Theatre major, returns to CCBC Essex after Working at CCBC. He has also appeared in Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Verge, and Macbeth. He has also been in The Graduate and Side Show at DCT, Avenue Q at Cockpit in Court Theatre, and two short films, as well as many shows from his high school.
LISA KENNEDY (Atalanta and others) is a current student at CCBC Essex. Before returning to college, Lisa was a student at MCW Pro Wrestling Training Center. She trained for six months, then left to focus on her education. Lisa plans to move to New York or California to pursue her acting career.
TREVOR MERRITT (Tiphys and others) has previously performed in several productions for Kenwood high school. Most notable roles include Almost, Maine (Steve, Chad, Lendall), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), The Addams Family (Lucas Beineke), You Gotta Live (Max Eastman/Stuart Davis), and Hand to God (Jason/Tyrone). He would like to thank the entire cast and crew for bringing together an excellent production.
ROHIT PURI (Uncle and others) is making his stage debut in his second year at CCBC, majoring in Theatre. He has worked as crew for other theatre productions, including Father Comes Home from the War and Working. He will graduate from CCBC in the fall of 2020 and plans on transferring to Towson University.
ANTOINE WILLIAMS (Pelias and others) is a long-time lover of the performing arts, having spent nearly thirteen years on stage in one capacity or another. Whether singing in Europe, dancing on stage, serving in his church, or accompanying and instructing his middle school chorus, the theatre seems to be a natural place for him to be. He has performed in major roles in The Uprisings Plays, The Verge, Father Comes Home from the Wars, Hamlet, and Purlie! He is a Theatre major in the performance track.
ROSS HAMILTON (Andromeda and others) returns to the CCBC Essex stage in Argonautika. A third-year Performing Arts major, Ross has previously appeared as Hattie in Susan Glaspell’s The Verge last fall, as well as been the light board master for Hand to God. A person of many talents, Ross enjoys drawing, writing, dancing, and more, and is currently working on a passion project that they hope to publish someday.
RAPHAEL STANCIL (Aphrodite and others) a second-year Theatre major, returns to CCBC after appearing freshman year in Choir Boy. Raphael has also appeared in Little Shop of Horrors, Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Bye Bye Birdie at Lansdowne High School, as well as in small theatres in the area. Raphael is a visual artist as well as a performing artist. Raphael plans to transfer to Towson after completing at CCBC.

PRODUCTION STAFF BIOS

NANCY MURRAY (Director) is an Assistant Professor of Academic Literacy. She has directed many plays for academic and community theatres in the Baltimore / Washington area, including A Doll House at CCBC Essex.  Nancy has also written three plays, Dying to Know, Sitting Still, and Asking Questions, which have all enjoyed productions in local theatres.  She is delighted to work with such a large cast of inspiring people.
TERRI RAULIE (Scenic & Lighting Designer) is an Assistant Professor in the Performing Arts and Humanities Department at CCBC. She holds a BFA and an MA in Theatre Design and Production from Montclair State University in New Jersey.  Professional and regional credits include The Whole Theatre, The Hangar Theatre, and Playwright Horizons in New Jersey and New York.  Locally, she has designed sets and/or lights for productions with Cockpit-in-Court Theatre, Phoenix Festival Theatre, and the Baltimore School for the Arts.

JAMES J. FASCHING (Costume Designer) is the resident costumer in the Performing Arts and Humanities Department at CCBC.  His career in design has taken him from designing for the Miss America Pageant, to having his own television spot on KDKA-TV for interior design tips, to designing hundreds of productions for Cockpit-in-Court Summer Theatre, Dundalk Community Theatre, Peabody Opera Company, Theatre Hopkins, and The School for the Arts in Philadelphia, to name a few.
BRADLEY NORRIS (Sound Designer) is the Production Manager for the Performing Arts Department at CCBC. He has lived and worked in the Baltimore Theatre Community for ten years now as a Director, Production Manager, Designer, Fight Choreographer, and pretty much any other role that needs doing. Previously he was based in Chicago, where he did much of the same and more. He is a proud Co-Founder of Cohesion Theatre Company, and enjoys bringing underserved voices to the stage. If there is a theatre in the Baltimore area, chances are he has worked there in some capacity. If not, he is too tired to start now.
JAMES CLAXTON (Stage Manager) is a recent graduate from the George Washington Carver Center for the Arts and Technology and is currently a freshman at CCBC.  His stage management credits include Kid Simple, The Unseen Hand , The Library , Memphis and  Inspecting Carol. He was also the technical Director for Trapdoor Theatre company in his senior year.  This coming summer he will be interning for Wicked on Broadway as a stage manager. He will also be attending the Disney College program this summer.
