TIFFANY WALKER PORTA BURROWS (Patsy Cline) returns to DCT after appearing in The Women and The Secret Garden.  She began performing on the DCT stage when she was 11 years old as a member of the Act I Children’s Theatre in productions of Li’l Abner, Anything Goes,and Pippin.  Other DCT productions include appearances as Maggie in A Chorus Line, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Electra in Gypsy, and Martha in The Secret Garden. Nationally, some of her credits include performing at the Aloha Bowl, Rocky Gap, and Carnegie Hall. Some of her favorite Regional credits include: Patsy Cline in Always, Patsy Cline (Toby’s Dinner theatre & Winters Lane Theatre), Rose in Gypsy (MAF), Mayzie in Suessical (Pumpkin Theatre), Fastrada in Pippin, Florinda in Into the woods (MTM), Jan in Grease (MAF), and herself in Smokey Joe’s Café (Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre)… just to name a few. Tiffany was the Director/Owner of Drama Kids International of Central Baltimore and Harford County. Currently, she is a Special Education and Health Education teacher at Hereford Middle School in Baltimore County. Tiffany holds two Master’s Degrees from Goucher College.  She is also the Director of the HMS Drama Program, as well as the faculty sponsor for HMS Best Buddies Chapter.

MARIBETH VOGEL (Louise Seger) has been performing onstage in the Baltimore area for over 35 years (yes, she started as an infant!) and is happy to return to the DCT stage after many years.  She was seen previously at DCT as Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo, Gorgeous in The Sisters Rosenzweig, Vera in Steppin’ Out and Betsy in The Octette Bridge Club.  Most recent productions include The Mystery of Edwin Drood at Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre, 9 to 5 and Noises Off with Silhouette Stages in Columbia, and A Tomb with a View at Bowie Community Theatre. Some favorite roles include Mama Rose in Gypsy, Betty in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Meredith in Bat Boy, Marjorie in The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Dolly in Hello, Dolly!, Nancy Twinkle in Little Mary Sunshine, Maggie in Jake’s Women, and Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls.  Her greatest productions, however, are her children, Matthew (26) and Claire (24).

ERIC J. POTTER (Director) returns to DCT after having directed Anything Goes, Blood Brothers, Forever Plaid (1999) and Company. Other regional credits include; Next to Normal, Sweeney Todd and Man of LaMancha at Vagabond Players, Sunset Boulevard, The Will Rogers Follies, Funny Girl, Baby at Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre and LaCage aux Folles at Tobys Dinner Theater. When not directing theatre, Eric is the Administrative Manager of the Krieger Mind Brain Institute at Johns Hopkins University.

CHARLOTTE EVANS (Musical Director) makes her DCT musical direction debut with Always Patsy Cline.  Local credits include Gutenburg: The Musical! (Epic Productions), Something’s Afoot (Vagabond Players), Crazy For You Junior (Children’s Playhouse of Maryland). Regional credits: Rocky Horror Show (Millbrook Playhouse, PA), Wizard of Oz (Surflight Theater, NJ), Gypsy (Festival 56, IL), Company (Gallery Players, NYC), Annie Get Your Gun (Crown Uptown, KS). Charlotte received her training in piano and theatre from Ithaca College. She is also a recent graduate of the pastry arts program s at L’academie de Cuisine.

MARC W. SMITH (Scenic/Lighting/Sound Designer/Technical Director)  has been involved in over 200 productions in the past 30 years.  A graduate of Towson University with a B.A. and M.F.A. in Theatre Production, Marc’s scenic and lighting designs and technical achievements have won him awards from the USITT.  In addition, Marc’s scenic and lighting designs for A Little Night Music, The Cemetery Club and Bus Stop have been displayed in juried expositions.  In 2005 his scenic and lighting designs for the CCBC Essex production of Zombie Prom were part of the finalists in the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

MARGIE LAKE (Stage Manager) is delighted to make her DCT debut with this incredibly talented cast and creative team. Prior Stage Management credits include Man of La Mancha, Sweeney Todd, Godspell  Company and Something’s Afoot at The Vagabond Players and The Wizard of Oz, Curtains, Sunset Boulevard and Peter Pan at Cockpit in Court. During the day Margie works as Treasurer and Business Manager for the Children’s Playhouse of Maryland.  Enjoy the show!

LARRY MUNSEY (Costume Designer) is pleased to be designing costumes for DCT for the first time.  He has over 35 years of experience on and off the stage. He is the Associate Artistic Director and resident costume designer for Toby’s Dinner Theatre in Columbia MD.

AMY VICKERS (Properties Master) is thrilled to return to DCT having Stage Managed, Propped, or worked back stage on productions of, Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hello Dolly, 1776, Into the Woods, Visiting Mr. Green, Nunsense, Other People’s Money, Baby, Spelling Bee, Cinderella, Annie, Jane Eyre, Jekyll & Hyde, just to name a few.  By day Amy is the Administrative Assistant for the Psychology Department at Towson University and she is full time wife and mother to Glen and Timothy.

TED SWINDLEY (Author/Original Director) is internationally known as writer and director of the popular musical, Always, Patsy Cline.  He is the founding artistic director of STAGES REP in Houston, Texas.  He was also named to the Esquire Magazine’s register of outstanding Americans in arts and letters.  Mr. Swindley was the recipient of the Los Angeles Dramalogue award for outstanding direction of Carnal Knowledge by Jules Feiffer.  Currently, he is president of Ted Swindley Productions, Inc., a theatrical licensing and consulting company, and continues his 30 year career writing plays and musicals, consulting and mentoring playwrights, as well as directing plays for various theatres throughout the U.S. and abroad.  Mr. Swindley is an active member of The Dramatists Guild of America and Stage Directors and Choreographers.
