ELIJAH GROSS is 18 years old and born August 6, 1999, and raised in Baltimore, MD, and attended Baltimore City College High School. This is Elijah’s first year at CCBC, Elijah was in Choir Boy last semester at Catonsville. So this is Elijah’s second production. He has been singing all his life in school and church choirs and he wishes to pursue a career in Musical Theatre.
SHAZI ATAM is a 22 year old Business Administration major born in Baltimore, Maryland. Shazi has had a passion for entertainment since a young age being involved in her elementary school step team and dance group. She had a poem published in a book in the third grade, and wrote a book of her own “The Ganja Diaries” in her junior year of high school. She has branched out into comedy making skits on her Instagram and Facebook page, and is also looking forward to starting stand up. She is highly interested in everything from directing, to writing, acting, producing and writing music, singing, dancing, improv, and comedy. This is her first official theater production and she is on the RISE!
AMANDA HALCOTT is thrilled to be in her second show at CCBC! Last semester she acted in Everyman and she is also a member of the Baltimore Murder Mystery Company. She wants to thank Felix for being an awesome Stage Manager and her cast mates for being so welcoming and friendly.
DELVONTA WILSON is a 20 year old theater technician from Baltimore , Maryland. He is a 2016 graduate of Baltimore School for the Arts as a Theater Major in Production and Design, he is currently working as a part timer at CCBC Essex within the theater.
ANTOINE WILLIAMS is a 22 year old student. A long time lover of the performing arts, Antoine has spent nearly 12 years on the stage in one capacity or another. Whether singing in Europe, dancing on stage, serving in his church, accompanying and instructing his middle school chorus, or comedy videos via social media, the theater seems to be a natural place for him to be. Aside from his class activities and showcases, this will be his stage acting debut. He currently majors in Political Science and plans to minor in Music. However, he has expressed an interest in changing his major to Theater, with a focus in Directing.
LACRAVE GRIFFIN is currently a Theatre Major at CCBC Essex. Last semester he played Good Deeds in Everyman. He is hoping to transfer to Towson University to study Education and become a theatre teacher in the future.
LOLA REIGN is a current Theatre Performance major. She will be graduating this Spring from CCBC and plans to study Mass Communications, while working as an actor. She also sings and has done some modeling
EMMANUELLE CAINTIC is a Theatre Performance major attending the Community College of Baltimore County. They are an actor, singer, and songwriter. Previous stage credits include Shrek the Musical, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Beauty and the Beast the Musical (Owings Mills High). They also acted in Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992 (Owings Mills High).
SETH JOHNSON is excited to be returning to the stage of CCBC. After taking a few years off, he is happy to be surrounded by such talented people. He hopes that this show brings awareness of the concept of inequality and fairness. He hopes you enjoy the show.
RASHARD HALL is a 26yr old second year student at CCBC. Rashard’s major is Mass Communications and he is planning on attending Howard University in the Fall of 2018, following his completion at CCBC. The Uprising Plays is Rashard’s first theatre production. He developed a further interest in Acting after studying Acting 1. Some of Rashard’s interest include Reading, Poetry, Film, video games, and sports, just to name a few.
SETH BRINEGAR is performing in his first theatrical production, with prior experience in Cockpit in Court’s Sister Act. Transitioning from Physical Education to Theater, Seth is excited to put on a show and make it a memorable performance.
JORDAN DAMON is 19 years old and this is his first production acting. Even at a young age, he has had an affinity for the arts. He is a 2016 graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. In his free time, he plays video games, spends time with family, works at Target and is the President of the Students for Social Justice Club.
AUVION ARRINGTON is a 19 year old student who goes to CCBC in Essex. Although Auvion is currently pursuing a major in Business Administration, she also enjoys the arts.
