In the spirit of the holiday season, I extend heartfelt best wishes to all who lend their energy and wisdom to fuel our nation’s community colleges, their students, and their communities. Good things happen every day at the hundreds of community college across the country, making these institutions the strong and dynamic institutions they are today.
Having finally emerged this year from the pandemic, our sector has seen achievements that are nothing short of phenomenal. As we enter this busy holiday season, we want to celebrate the hard work of the dedicated people who, with an extraordinary willingness, sign on year after year to support and encourage students towards achievements they may once have only dreamed of. Full-time or part-time, students enter our proverbial open-door which stands firmly ajar.
There are thousands of us engaged in the noble work of lifting the prospects of community college students all across America. As just compensation for effort, I encourage all of us to revel in the joy, renewal, and optimism that the holiday season brings.
